French young sensation opens up about Real Madrid’s interest

Amid all the speculation about his future, a French young sensation opened up about the interest Real Madrid is showing in him. 

There are at least two French youngsters that Real Madrid is after right now. Zinedine Zidane’s knowledge of his nation’s market is key for Los Blancos’ aspirations for the upcoming transfer windows. We all know Kylian Mbappe is the most likely next step that the Spanish giants will take in regards to their biggest target.

However, there’s another young French star who is very much under the radar. We are talking about Eduardo Camavinga, who is one of Zidane’s favorite youngsters at the moment. The Rennes forward is having a great second season with his current club and he knows how much interest clubs have in his transfer.

Not a day goes by without him reading something new about his future in the local papers. As bright as everything looks for his career at the moment, the kid seems to be handling fame quite well. 

Camavinga knows how to address the hype. 

As part of a response to all the hype created around him, the youngster spoke to the media ahead of Rennes’ upcoming Ligue 1 activity. Marca picked up his statements about the interest from other clubs.

It’s obvious that the most talked-about squad on Camavinga’s orbit is Real Madrid. But the youngster decided to keep the name of the clubs asking for his services to himself.

“I see and hear things. It’s nice to hear what people say but those things won’t distract me,” said Camavinga. “I know how to separate things. I’m at Rennes and other clubs aren’t an issue for now. Later we’ll see.”

“I’ve got two years left on my contract and there’s plenty of time to talk about all that,” he added. “There will be renewal negotiations, this is the club I came through at and I’d like to stay here.
