Mohamed Elneny was shipped away on loan last year but has earned a place in Mikel Arteta’s aggressive Arsenal squad.

Unai Emery’s reign at the Emirates was full of questions. There were questions about their team’s identity. And there were questions about Arsenal’s direction.

Mikel Arteta has answered those questions and the outlook is looking bright. They have defeated Chelsea, Liverpool and Fulham in their last three fixtures. All the victories came in different competitions.

Mohamed Elneny has been part of their most recent two wins and is impressed with the changes done by the Spanish tactician.

The Egyptian hailed how the attitude of the club have changed and believes no one is holding back in their performances.

“We feel like we are more aggressive, like everyone just wants to give 100 percent,” Elneny told Arsenal.com.

“This was what we missed in Arsenal, because at Arsenal we always loved to play football but we didn’t care [enough] about giving 100 percent. But now we can see that everyone does, even the kit man!

“Everyone has to give 100 per cent because this is a great club and everyone has to work really hard to push this club to win the Premier League, to win everything, because we have quality players, we have the facilities, we have the family. Everyone is great in this club.”

Elneny was on-loan at Besiktas last season but seems to be firmly in Arteta’s plans. The Gunners will need strength in numbers as the compete in four competitions this campaign.
