Ahead of this weekend’s UEFA Champions League final, Mido has made a surprising prediction about the Egyptian’s future.

Egypt legend Mido has ‘a feeling’ Mohamed Salah will reunite with his old Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.

The 29-year-old attacker is yet to agree on terms for a new contract at Liverpool. His current deal expires by the end of next season, prompting speculation over a move away from Anfield – something Mido can see happening.

“I have a feeling that Mourinho will go back to Madrid and will sign Salah. I would love to see Salah playing for Madrid under Jose,” the former Tottenham striker tweeted.

Salah played under Mourinho at Chelsea between 2013 and 2015, but the Egypt international made just 19 appearances under the former Real Madrid coach.

Salah and Mourinho have already denied summer moves

But while Mido can always hope, both Salah and Mourinho have already affirmed their commitment to their respective clubs, Liverpool and AS Roma.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Salah said: “I’m just focused on the team [Liverpool], really. I don’t want to talk about the contract. We have a long time. I’m staying next season for sure. That’s clear. I’m staying next season. Let’s see after that.”

Mourinho, meanwhile, vowed to stay at Roma on the same day after leading the Italian club to glory in the Europa Conference League final.

Salah hopes to emulate his old boss’ title success on Saturday when Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Paris.
