The England international is one of the most in-demand midfielders in the Premier League.

West Ham has reportedly accepted Declan Rice’s decision to leave the club next summer.

Rice has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League in recent seasons.

The 23-year-old’s performances have seen several clubs attempting to prize him away from West Ham. The Hammers have managed to fend off Rice’s suitors until now.

But it seems the London side have finally admitted their star midfielder’s exit.

According to the Athletic, West Ham have “conceded internally” that Rice will leave next summer.

The Hammers will reportedly not consider selling their homegrown star for anything below £100m. Such a move would put the England international alongside Jack Grealish, who joined Manchester City for the same transfer fee.

Chelsea are Rice’s main suitors in the market as they monitor the market for a new midfielder. However, the Blues might face competition from Manchester City and Manchester United in the race to sign the midfielder.

Rice’s friendship with Chelsea’s Mason Mount could be a deciding factor in his transfer. The Blues are also set to lose N’Golo Kante and Jorginho, which forces them to reinforce their midfield line.
