The Portuguese superstar might leave Manchester United as soon as this January.

Inter Miami are planning to sign Cristiano Ronaldo on a massive contract, offering him a way out of Manchester United.

The 37-year-old has struggled to find game time under Erik ten Hag, slipping behind the likes of Antony and Marcus Rashford in United’s pecking order.

However, a lucrative offer from MLS might convince him to move away from Old Trafford.

According to the Daily Star, Inter Miami are ready to offer Ronaldo a £30million-per-year contract.

The David Beckham-owned club hope to find a quick replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who announced his retirement last week.

Widespread reports in English media claim Erik ten Hag is ready to allow Ronaldo’s exit in January. However, United could still block the move by asking for a transfer fee.

Inter Miami are reportedly planning to sign Ronaldo on a free deal. The MLS club might decide to delay the move until next summer if United refuse to release the Portugal international.

Last summer, Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, made it clear that his client wanted to leave United after they failed to qualify for the Champions League.

A move to MLS might end CR7’s chances to play UCL football forever. However, it would provide him with an escape from his current situation at Old Trafford.
