Following Tottenham’s bitter defeat at Mura, Antonio Conte admitted that the club is in need of big changes in the future.

Antonio Conte has acknowledged that Tottenham are in desperate need of mending things at the club after a shocking defeat to Mura.

On Thursday night, Spurs suffered a humiliating loss to Slovenian outfit Mura in the Europa Conference League.

An injury-time winning goal from Amadej Marosa left Conte frustrated in the dugout as the home side managed to gull the Premier League side.

Following the game, the Italian boss talked at the post-match conference: “This a bad loss for us. The performance was poor. We know we have a lot of work ahead of us. This is a difficult moment for us.”

“We need patience to improve, to be good again. We were poor not only technically and tactically but also mentally. It will take time to bring Tottenham back.”

Conte added: “After three weeks I am starting to understand the situation. It is not simple. At this moment the level at Tottenham is not so high.”
