The Brazilian star is reportedly on the club’s exit list ahead of the next season.

Christophe Galtier has hoped he will have Neymar in his squad for the last season amid the Brazilian’s exit rumours.

According to several French sources, Neymar’s representatives have started offering the Brazil international to top clubs across Europe.

Reports link Neymar with Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle, with PSG reportedly listening to offers for the 30-year-old.

However, Galtier says he would like to see Neymar stay at PSG.

“What coach wouldn’t like to have Neymar in his squad?” Galtier said during his unveiling. “He’s a world class player.

“Sure, you need balance, but I have a very clear idea of how I want to use him. I hope that he will stay with us.”

Asked about Kylian Mbappe’s controversial contract extension, the former Nice manager said: “As a French coach, I was very happy that Kylian stayed,” Galtier said. “He is one of the best players in the world.

“I know what he expects from his team. We know his strengths and the importance he has. If these great individuals are happy to work as a collective, PSG will have a great season. I hope it will be as decisive as last season.”
