Involved in four of his team’s six goals, the Frenchman continued his red-hot form on Wednesday night.

Karim Benzema is “complete in every sense”, said Carlo Ancelotti after the striker yet again proved pivotal for Real Madrid in their 6-1 victory over Mallorca.

Benzema broke the deadlock in the third minute after capitalizing on a massive mistake from a Mallorca defender.

The forward set Marco Asensio up for his second and third goal of the night, taking his assist tally this season to seven in what was only his sixth La Liga game.

In the 78th minute, the former Lyon man added another after brilliantly controlling an over-the-top defense splitting ball by David Alaba off his back and blasting his shot into the net.

“The fact he’s scored so many goals might make you forget that he also combining well and coming deeper to play assists,” Ancelotti told the press about Benzema, who reached the 200-goal landmark in the Spanish top-flight (via Goal).

“He’s a forward who doesn’t only score goals. He’s complete in every sense.

“When he does get tired, we’ll put Luka Jovic in because he’s doing well I think. It’s tough for Jovic because he’s got such tough competition. But, the little he is playing he’s doing well. He came close twice tonight and played well in Valencia too. When Benzema needs to rest, he’ll play.”
