Antonio Rudiger has said “we will see” when asked about his Chelsea future as he continues to negotiate for a better deal.

Antonio Rudiger has revealed that a decision is yet to be made about his Chelsea future as his contract standoff with the Blues continues.

The German is set to be out of a contract at the end of the current season and is being targeted by a number of European clubs.

The 28-year-old has been a key part of Thomas Tuchel’s side, and the Blues’ boss is keen to tie down the defender to a long-term contract.

However, very little progress has been made over a new deal, but Rudiger has hinted that he could still stay on at Stamford Bridge.

“Of course you need to listen to the missus! You have to think about your family,” he told Sky Sports.

I always said my kids were born here in London. That tells you my family feels great here. The rest is up to other people, they also have to make decisions. Then we will see if we come together or not.”

Despite the uncertainty over his future, Rudiger insisted that he remains 100 percent committed to Chelsea.

He added: “I find it [not letting rumours affect his performances] easy to do because these are not only words that I’m saying that I’m fully committed to the cause. I think I’ve shown it.

“I owe it to everyone here around the club – the coach, my teammates, my family. That’s why for me, I am only focused about the important things.”
