A move to Goodison Park has been mooted for the Spanish playmaker as he struggles to find a regular role in the Real Madrid team.

Isco has been reportedly put up for sale by Real Madrid, with Everton one of the Premier League clubs said to be taking interest in the player.

The Spanish champions’ decision to part ways with the midfielder rests on the fact that he has been going through a rough patch for a couple of seasons now.

No more than 20 starts across the last two La Liga campaigns have been made by the player who was once an integral part of the team in their European conquests.

An exit seems likely for the former Malaga man with Los Blancos seeking to raise funds in times of financial crisis.

Carlo Ancelotti had a hand in bringing Isco to the Spanish capital back in 2013 and it is reported that he is keen on reuniting with the player once again at Everton.

“It is not true that I am behind Isco, ” said Ancelotti dismissing the rumors speaking to DIRECTV SportCo, via Marca.

“We haven’t started thinking about the team for the January market. So those comments are, as they say here, bull****.”

Ancelotti was tasked with the rebuilding of Everton during the summer transfer window. The Italian tactician mainly focused on reinforcing his midfield, bringing in James Rodriguez, Allan, and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
