CR7 ran riot to claim his first victory in an away game since joining Al Nassr.

Al Nassr crushed Al Wehda 4-0 in their Saudi Pro League game on Thursday. Cristiano Ronaldo’s masterclass was enough for the guests to claim the three points at King Abdul Aziz Stadium.

Ronaldo steals the show!

Al Nassr came into the game on the back of their underwhelming draw against Al Fateh last Friday. However, their strong start to the game showed they were eager to claim a different result against Al Wehda.

The hosts survived Al Nassr’s initial pressure on their backline. But Ronaldo broke the deadlock in the 21st minute. CR7 rifled a precise low ball into the far corner of the net to make it 1-0 for his side.

The Portuguese superstar then doubled his side’s lead only 20 minutes later.

This time, an assist from Sami Al-Najei found Ronaldo behind Al Wehda’s backline. The 38-year-old then converted the one-on-one situation with a cool shot.

Al Wehda made a few unsuccessful attempts to come back into the game toward the end of the first period. But Al Nassr’s fantastic start after the break ended their hopes for a comeback.

Ronaldo completed his hat-trick by scoring a spot-kick in the 53rd minute. Al Wehda’s defence line collapsed under their opponents’ constant pressure, enabling Ronaldo to make it 4-0 only eight minutes later.

Abdulquddus Atiah managed to save Ronaldo’s first shot when he faced him inside the box. But CR7 smashed the rebound into the back of the net to celebrate his fourth goal of the night.

Al Nassr then made a number of substitutions as they reduced the pace of the game in the final 20 minutes.

Ronaldo’s fantastic performance sends Al Nassr back to the top of the Saudi League table. Rudi Garcia’s side will return to action when they take on Al Taawoun next Friday.
