The Portuguese superstar continues his impressive performances in Al Nassr’s jersey.

Al Nassri defeated Al Taawoun in their Saudi Pro League game on Friday. A fantastic display from CR7 helped Al Nassr maintain their top spot in the Saudi Pro League.

A Ronaldo- Ghareeb linkup!

The game started with Al Nassr dominating the possession while the guests retreated into their own half.

After a few missed chances, Al Nassr broke the deadlock through Abdulrahman Ghareeb.

A fantastic through-ball from Ronaldo found Ghareeb in a one-on-one situation. The winger then smashed the ball into the far corner of the net to make it 1-0 for Rudi Garcia’s side.

Al Nassr had a few more chances to extend their lead. But it was Al Taawoun who snatched the equalizer when the second period started.

Only two minutes after the break, Alvaro Medran converted Mohammed Al-Ghamdi’s cross from close range to get the guests back into the game.

Al Taawoun thought they completed their comeback when Léandre Tawamba scored in the 69th minute. But VAR disallowed the goal after a quick review.

Al Nassr then went all-in with their attacks in the final 20 minutes. Their efforts finally paid off when another Ronaldo assist sat up Abdullah Madu to score the winner for the hosts.

The victory keeps Ronaldo and co at the top of the Saudi Pro League table. Garcia’s men will take on Damac in their next league game on February 25.
