Phil Neville has called out former teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for repeatedly leaving Paul Pogba out of the Manchester United line-up.

Solskjaer benched Pogba for Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils boss made the call in light of another below-par display from the Frenchman in their previous league fixture at home to Arsenal, which saw them lose 1-0. He picked Fred, Bruno Fernandes, and Scott McTominay as his central midfielders instead.

And while Pogba came on for the last eight minutes at Goodison Park, he’s only started one of United’s last four league games.

“I still think it’s absolutely disgraceful that Pogba can’t get in that team,” said Neville as quoted on Football365.

“For United to win a league, for United to be successful, for United to play the style of football that Ole wants them to play then Pogba has to play.

“You can play one of them [Nemanja] Matic, Fred, or [Scott] McTominay and then you play Pogba with [Bruno] Fernandes.”
